Principal’s Welcome Letter

Dear Madison Families,

Welcome to a new school year at Madison Middle School! As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, I am excited about the opportunities ahead and the incredible community of students, families, educators, and staff who make Madison such a special place.

This year, our focus is Every Bulldog Connected. We believe that students thrive when they feel a genuine sense of belonging, develop meaningful relationships, and have opportunities to discover their passions. Our goal is to ensure that every Bulldog feels seen, heard, valued, and connected to our school community.

At Madison, we are committed to creating these connections through four essential pillars: Academics, Arts, Activities, and Athletics. Whether students are challenging themselves in the classroom, discovering their creativity through music and the arts, participating in clubs and activities, or representing Madison in athletics, we want every student to find their place and experience success.

Our commitment to academic excellence goes hand in hand with our commitment to building a safe, inclusive, and welcoming school. Through our BARK expectations—Be prepared to learn, Always be safe, Respect self, others, and Madison, and Kindness is key—we will continue to build a school culture where every student has the opportunity to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Families are essential partners in this work. We encourage you to stay connected with your student’s teachers, participate in school events, support our PTSA, and celebrate the many accomplishments of our Bulldogs throughout the year. Together, we can create a community where every student knows they belong and has the support they need to succeed.

As your principal, I am committed to listening to student voices, supporting our outstanding educators, strengthening our family partnerships, and ensuring that every Bulldog has access to meaningful learning experiences and opportunities.

Here’s to a fantastic school year filled with learning, growth, new friendships, and Bulldog pride. I look forward to all that we will accomplish together!

Every Bulldog Connected. Every Bulldog Valued. Every Bulldog Thriving.

With Bulldog Pride,

Dr. Pierce
