Author Talk with Alan Gratz–Feb. 7th
Author Talk with Alan Gratz–Feb. 7th
Powerhouse author Alan Gratz (Refugee, Two Degrees, Ground Zero, Allies, Grenade) will be stopping by Madison MS on Wednesday, February 7th during 6th period to talk with 8th grade students about being an author and his newest novel—Heroes—which is about the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
All 8th graders will be attending the author talk in the cafeteria during 6th period with an author book signing directly after school in the library. All Madison Students (regardless of whether you attended the author talk) are invited to Pre-order his new novel Heroes online for $20.91 and then get it signed by Alan right after school in the library. If your student can’t stay after school to get their book signed, Ms. Bell can get it signed for them and deliver it the next day. Students can also bring their cash (exact amount only—we do not have change) or check (made out to Madison Middle School) the day of the event to purchase a book (while supplies last) right after school from Alan in the Library. We will also have lots of copies of his new book in our Madison Library for checkout. 😊
For students not able to attend the author talk: Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park will be hosting an author talk with Alan Gratz that will be open to the public the evening of February 7th at 6pm.
