    The Hour of Code

Calling all coders and anyone who wants to use technology to change the world! In celebration of Computer Science Education Week that is happening from December 9th-15th, our school is joining in on one of the largest learning events in history, The Hour of Code. More than 100 million students worldwide have already tried an Hour of Code and we want to add even more!

Students and adults can participate any time next week by going to http://code.org/learn and picking their one-hour tutorial of choice. The library will also be open during lunch for coding and Ms. Bell will be hosting some math classes in the library during the week to give it a try. Download the entry form and turn it in to Ms. Bell by December 16th to be entered into the prize drawing for kids that complete at least an hour of code. Will you be one of the 100 million+ to participate?
