    Donut Forget to Read

It's almost summer and the Madison Library wants to remind students of one very important thing--"Donut forget to READ!"  And we've got lots of ways to help you find amazing books that will keep you reading all summer long.

    1. The list is out for the 2019-2020 Bulldogs Read books! Students can get a head start reading them over the summer in order to be in September's prize drawing. To track the Bulldogs Read books you read over the summer and next year, please go to and submit a quick response after each book you read.  Happy reading!

    2. Summer book checkout starts June 24th in our Madison Library and all incoming, returning, and departing Madison Bulldogs can check out up to 10 books from us to take home for summer reading. Just make sure your library account is clear of all overdue books and unpaid fines first (be sure to talk with Ms. Bell if you've got a special circumstance). Outgoing 8th graders--once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog! You, too, are more than welcome to check out books from our library this summer. Just make sure you can get them back to us in the fall!

    3. Summer Library Hours are here: the Madison Library will be open July 16th and August 13th this summer from 12-3 pm for book checkout, MakerSpace fun and, of course, READING! Stop on by and swap out your first set of summer reading books for 10 new ones. Hope to see you out!

    4. Track the books you read this summer (Bulldogs Read or not) on our Summer Reading Donut flyer and turn it in to Ms. Bell in the fall for raffle entry drawings for...can you guess? DONUTS, of course!
