End of Year Fines and Library Books
As we approach the end of this school year, it is now time for students to bring back any books that they’ve finished and renew any books that they want to keep for the summer. All books were due back June 3rd, except for 6th and 7th graders who plan on renewing them for the summer. Any books not returned or school fines not paid (sports jersey fines, laptop charger fines, etc.) will put a hold on a student’s yearbook, so please pay those fines and return or renew those books as soon as possible. Please see the options below.
1. If students are done reading the book, please return it as soon as possible to the library so that our next Bulldog Reader can check it out for the summer.
2. 6th and 7th graders: If you’d like to keep your book for summer reading, please renew it by visiting the library front desk or by emailing Librarian Stacia Bell at smbell@seattleschools.org. Yearbooks will be held until you return or renew your books and pay off any other school fines.
3. 8th graders: Please finish and return all of your books ASAP. Yearbooks will be held until you return all of your books and pay off any other school fines.
4. If you have lost one of your books, you can either buy a replacement copy of it or pay for it via SchoolPay or in person with Ms. McDonald, our fiscal secretary, in the main office. If you have a financial need, please email Librarian Stacia Bell at smbell@seattleschools.org.
